How to Use This Course

This course is designed to be completed sequentially and reflects the evolution of my clinical practice over time.

The first eight presentations, recorded approximately five years ago, represent the foundations of my approach at that stage. They are intentionally included and should be viewed first, as they provide important context for how my thinking and techniques developed.

These are followed by a growing series of updated presentations, available in the All Course Videos section, incorporating refined anatomical understanding, emerging evidence, and the progressive integration of ultrasound into assessment, technique, decision-making, and complication management.

What is now known as the Nonsurgical Lip Tubercle (NLT) technique originally began as the Nonsurgical Lip Lift (NLL). As anatomical understanding deepened—particularly regarding lip tubercles, muscular interaction, and filler behaviour—the terminology and technique evolved to more accurately reflect what is being treated and why.

This progression is intentional. Viewing the course in order will give you the greatest educational value.

What is included in the course?

In addition to the four core sessions outlined below, the course includes four additional presentations containing updated material, available in the All Course Videos section.

Session 1: Meet the Models

This introductory session was recorded approximately five years ago and is intentionally presented here to illustrate the foundational stage of the course.
A total of 30 models are introduced during this presentation. You are encouraged to assess each model independently and formulate a treatment plan using approximately 1–2 ml of dermal filler.
Please keep your notes, as these same cases are revisited in Sessions 2 and 3, where I present my own evolving approach, including treatment videos and anatomical rationale.

Session 2: The Art and Science

This session comprises four presentations recorded approximately five years ago and reflects my clinical thinking at that stage of practice. It includes one presentation on the Art of Aesthetic Medicine, one on Facial Reshaping, and two on what was then termed the Nonsurgical Lip Lift (NLL).
These talks explore a holistic, artistic, and “less is more” approach to facial aesthetics, emphasising proportion, balance, and restraint. At the time, the focus was on combining aesthetic intuition with anatomical knowledge to achieve natural-looking results.
As you progress through the course, you will see how many of these principles remain relevant, while others have evolved significantly with advances in anatomical understanding, technique refinement, and the later integration of ultrasound.

Session 3: The Model Treatments

This session presents my assessments and treatments of all the models, including close-up treatment videos with full explanations and step-by-step guidance. These treatments reflect my clinical approach at the time the course was originally recorded and should be viewed in the context of the preceding sessions.
Please have your notes from Session 1 available, as this session is designed to allow direct comparison between your own treatment planning and my approach. This comparison forms an important foundation for understanding how my techniques and decision-making have evolved in later, updated presentations.

Session 4: Summary and Q&A

This recorded live session summarises the material covered in the initial phase of the course and addresses common questions raised at that time. It reflects my thinking and clinical approach as it stood when the early presentations were delivered and should be viewed as a consolidation of those foundational concepts.
As the course has evolved, many of the themes discussed here are expanded upon in later, updated presentations incorporating emerging evidence, refined anatomical understanding, and ultrasound-guided techniques.
If you have further questions after completing the course, or would like clarification in light of the updated material, you are welcome to contact me via Instagram DMs at @drharrisclinic. A course certificate will be issued upon completion of the full programme.
